Dormitory Effect takes four women, metal music and loud guitar riffs and makes them work like never before. They are girls that rock and they rock for girls. The band was blessed to play at the movie premiere for The Gits about a female lead singer, Mia Zapata that was raped and murdered.
The band features 4 band members. They are Susan who sings lead vocals. Meredith sings back up vocals and plays guitar. Gee is on drums and Urith plays bass and also sings backup vocals. In Seattle they played at the Rockrgrl Conference making it the second largest venue that the conference had ever seen.
The Wealth of Disease CD has been quite popular to all that hear it and they have played various shows across the US, in Nassau County and everywhere in between. The CD has 6 songs that include Let This Cease, Father, and Bide My Time.
